Month of May Proclaimed Omaha Print Month

OMAHA, Neb. - Gov. Dave Heineman and Omaha Mayor Mike Fahey have proclaimed the month of May, 2008, as Omaha Print Month. A national leader in direct mail and marketing solutions for America's best-known companies, Omaha Print marked 150 years of business on May 5, 2008.

To commemorate the company's year-long anniversary celebration, Omaha Print will display a historical photo exhibit that tracks both Omaha Print's and the city of Omaha's progress through the years. The exposition will be made available in public places.

"In many ways our history as a company is intertwined with the history of the city of Omaha, so it made perfect sense for us to partner with the Douglas County Historical Society to provide this exposition as a gift to the community," said Omaha Print CEO Steve Hayes.

Also in celebration of the 150th milestone, Omaha Print gifted 150 trees to the bur oak savannah restoration area of Fontenelle Forest in April, and it has established a scholarship for the children of Omaha Print employees pursuing a post-secondary education.

Omaha Print, founded in 1858, is headquartered in Omaha, with a sales office in Dallas. The production facility is home to sheet-fed, heatset web and coldset web presses, and a full bindery. For more information about Omaha Print, visit www.omahaprint.com, or call 800-369-0033.
